Trekker’s adventure class yachts are clearly unique and distinctive in their appearance, their function, and their relationship with their human occupants. Their purposeful mission represents a new profile for the yachting world.

As distinctive as Cousteau’s Calypso, a Trekker presents a commanding profile that looks like nothing else, featuring 7 primary innovations:

1. Command Control Center - Each Trekker is distinguished by its command Command Control Centerforward, curved and elevated bridge that provides transparent helicopter-like visibility. Its “up and forward” position is also the key component to Trekker’s unique space utilization strategy.

Extraordinary is the helm’s seating and accommodations. A huge sofa radiates behind the glass, giving passengers a cruise ship view while positioning the captain above and behind for optimum visibility and control.

Large sunroofs and side doors open up to let the sun and breeze flow through – adding flybridge sensations on fair weather days.

A large table for charts or entertaining, a refreshment center and bar and a full head leading to the upper deck and barbecue center complete this multi-tasking masterpiece.

2. Array Storage - Every Trekker is adorned with a unique collection of water world vessels and accessories mounted upon its multi-tiered back – space that is easily engineered, and re-engineered to store and maintain the owner’s specific assortment of water toys.

Rather than a design afterthought, Trekkers have been engineered to maintain an exceptional stability profile – coupled with a mandate to handle loads as large as 6,000 pound personal submarines. This is what adventure class is all about!

3. Launch Retrieval System – Trekkers are fitted with a computer-controlled launch and retrieval system (LRS) that safely and quickly maneuvers each unique collection of adventure craft.

Trekker’s LRS technology utilizes a gantry platform – a proven design that has served countless open sea operations for commercial and research vessels. This design approach provides an extraordinary increase in stability and safety when compared to traditional “davit” cranes.

Our favorite “little secret” is that the LRS also works just as well when the boat is resting in its slip – a huge advantage over davits that are far more dangerous and require moving the boat out of the slip to lower a dinghy. Trekkers easily launch and retrieve its entire array off the transom’s swim step – allowing for Trekker’s comfortable interiors to keep the football games and socializing going strong while the day sailors and personal watercraft entertain the kids – or is it the other way around?

4. Garage - The stern section of every Trekker incorporates a dedicated garage, and each one is geared to store and maintain whatever assortment of accessories and supplies are required to fuel the owner’s particular adventures. There is a rear swim step entrance to the garage with an ocean view and instant out-in for the scuba and fishing gear, skis, sails, bicycles, u-name-it – as well as a forward door into the engine room. Twin gasoline storage tanks and an external fill station are integrated – enough to feed hungry auxiliary craft for weeks at a time. A work bench and computer station provides a total operating and maintenance capability, with custom racking and storage for the accessories, parts, and maintenance inventory. “Wow.”

5. Roto-Dock – Each Trekker can be equipped with a full width extended swim step structure that stores up and rotates into position. This accommodates multi-boat tie-ups, swimming, scuba diving and on-site fishing activities - making standard swim steps look like cosmetic trim. It is all about expanding the adventure with more convenience, comfort, and capability.

6. All Aluminum – Trekker yachts are 100% marine grade aluminum in construction, and proud of it as they are Detail of the highly-useful features of the aft of Trekker 70largely unpainted, sporting instead a practical satin silver finish that is ultra durable, very low maintenance, incredibly strong, and environmentally superior. Trekker owners don’t think that adventure means endlessly polishing and waxing plastic surfaces and worrying about scratches and water spots! It’s all about establishing priorities, and Trekker is providing industry leadership in offering a world-class yacht that sets new standards for user-friendly performance. Hey, go polish the toys!

7. Open Flow Interior - All Trekkers utilize the torsional strength of their 1-piece aluminum welded structure to reduce the intrusion of interior bulkheads in the main living area -- providing an open interior space with views in all directions for uncluttered penthouse-style living. And the elimination of a second steering station means that the salon evolves into a huge forward dining table able to feed the whole team two steps from the galley! Trekker provides extraordinary accommodations as you will see when you sort through our accommodations plan. Enjoy!
