TREKKER is providing industry leadership.

Within the genesis of Trekker, there was an understanding that global leadership would be one of the company’s highest goals.

Having Jacques Cousteau as a lifelong hero, Trekker’s Founder has mandated the highest environmental standards be used to drive the design and operation of the adventure class series.

Trekker Marine Enterprises is dedicated to building the industry’s most fuel efficient and environmentally friendly yachts. TME is also committed to supporting other worthwhile efforts sponsored by other companies and organizations focused upon healing and managing our water-based planet.

For your review, we are providing the following description of our company memberships as well as cooperative links to other leadership sites.

"Protect the ocean and you protect yourself" www.OceanFutures.org

Surfrider Foundation USA – is a non-profit environmental organization working to preserve our oceans, waves, and beaches: www.Surfrider.org

Fragile Ocean – The purpose of the "Fragile Ocean" text and logo is to bring about an awareness of the fragility of our Nation's and World's ocean reefs and waterway shorelines when confronted with urban runoff pollution. We are dedicated to a pristine ocean environment and believe our efforts will bring about modification of the population's behavior through the subtle awareness of the "Fragile Ocean" logo. www.FragileOcean.org

International SeaKeepers Society – The International SeaKeepers Society is a nonprofit organization that actively protects the oceans by equipping luxury yachts, other vessels, and platforms around the world with sophisticated ocean and atmospheric monitoring sensors. These compact, high-tech monitors gather and transmit via satellite to the international scientific community critically-needed data on the health of the oceans, changing weather and climate patterns, sources of pollution and other threats to human life and marine resources. www.SeaKeepers.org

NAUSICAÄ, the French National Sea Experience Centre, – is much more than a mere aquarium. NAUSICAÄ is a unique place where visitors can discover the marine environment. At once entertaining, educational and scientific, the Centre derives its originality from its main focus on the relationship between Man and the Sea. Since 1991, NAUSICAÄ has been determined to raise public awareness about the importance of managing the oceans and their resources as “Caring for the Blue Planet, you can make a difference”. http://www.nausicaa.fr/
